This website is published and administered by Shelvium.

2. Terms and conditions of use and donation

1. Purpose

The purpose of this website is to present the activities of the Shelvium association and to enable anyone to support its projects, in particular the development of the AxiO device, through online donations.

2. Nature of donations

Donations made via this website are voluntary and free of charge.

They are non-refundable, except in the event of a technical error attributable to the payment provider.

No goods, services, or material benefits are provided in return.

3. Receipts and Transparency

Each donation generates an automatic receipt via the Wix Donations platform.

This receipt does not constitute a tax document.

Donations made to Shelvium are not currently tax deductible, as this recognition is currently under review.

Shelvium periodically publishes transparency information on the use of funds and the projects financed.

4. Payment methods

Payments are managed via PostFinance Checkout (Wallee), Stripe, or other approved providers.

These platforms ensure the security of transactions in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.

Shelvium does not store any banking data on its servers.

5. Data protection

The information collected during a donation (name, email address, amount, message) is used exclusively to:

  • issue the donation receipt;

  • inform the donor about the use of funds and news about the association (if they have agreed to this).

This data is not sold or passed on to third parties, except to service providers strictly necessary for processing the payment.

6. Applicable law

This site is governed by Swiss law.

Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the canton of Bern.

3. Privacy policy

1. Introduction

Shelvium attaches great importance to confidentiality and the protection of personal data.

This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data in accordance with the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We only collect data that is necessary for the management of our activities:

  • information provided via contact or donation forms (name, email address, amount, message);

  • anonymous technical information relating to browsing (cookies, traffic statistics).

4. Purposes of processing

The data is used to:

  • process donations and issue the corresponding receipts;

  • inform donors about the use of funds;

  • improve the functioning of the website and measure public interest;

  • respond to contact requests.

5. Legal basis

Processing is based on:

  • the consent of the person concerned (donations, newsletter);

  • the legitimate interest of the association in ensuring the proper functioning of its activities.

6. Retention period

Data relating to donations is kept for a maximum of 10 years, in accordance with accounting requirements.

Contact details are deleted upon request.

7. Data sharing

Data may only be passed on to the following service providers:

  • Wix.com Ltd. (website hosting and tools);

  • PostFinance / Wallee AG (payment processing);

  • Google Analytics or equivalent, for anonymous audience statistics.

These service providers act in accordance with data protection regulations and standard contractual clauses.

Shelvium implements technical and organizational security measures to protect data from loss, unauthorized access, or disclosure.

9. Your rights

Everyone has the right to access, rectify, oppose, and delete their personal data.
